Mantra

Kowloon

The Sunshine Restaurant opened at the usual time. The usual customers walked in and ordered the usual dishes. The waitress bowed and brought them the usual. They talked about the usual affairs and left at the usual time. The cook came over to the dining-room with his usual red bowl of white rice and sat at the usual wobbling table in the corner. The waitress sat next to him. She looked into the palm of her small hand and started murmuring something very low. The cook took a glimpse at her and continued to eat as usual. The waitress looked at the cook and around the empty restaurant, and smiled.
